Loving the iPad

It’s sleek, crystal clear and a blast-of-a-device.  I’ve been playing with the iPad today and loving it (just download the free Netflix app and can’t wait to use it) – plus it feels great to be holding a device that was completely developed for Wi-Fi.

I reported earlier today on the bugs that people have been reporting: maintaining a connection to a Wi-Fi network or receiving fluctuating signal strength when they should not.  I’m happy to say, I have used the device over a bunch of different Wi-Fi networks today (from office to home to public – both secured and unsecured) and have not run into a single issue so far.  I have done some pretty quirky things today to mess with my signal – but it has been fine so far.

Apple has referred to some of the issues that have been coming up in their support forum regarding the Wi-Fi connection and have posted this support.
